Installation and Commissioning of Medical Decontamination Equipment
We are happy to provide our extensive experience and expertise when selecting appropriate medical decontamination equipment for specific needs and requirements of individual sterile services departments.
The Audere Medical Services Limited team includes manufacturer trained technicians and engineers qualified to professionally install autoclaves, sterilizers, washer disinfectors, automated endoscope reprocessors, ultrasonics and gas plasmas as well as other peripheral items. Commissioned to HTM 01-01 through HTM 01-06
Our engineers are qualified to work on medical decontamination equipment manufactured by all the major UK, US and European brands.
Utilising this information and the skills and knowledge of our management team and individual engineers we are often consulted by our clients to provide our professional advice and expertise when selecting or short listing medical decontamination equipment suitable for their specific needs and requirements.
Our consultation will include a site visit, risk assessments and method statements.
The advice we provide is independent. Recommendations are based on fulfilling the medical decontamination requirements of our clients and we will consider a comprehensive selection of products.
Whilst we appreciate that many of the manufacturers will include the installation and commissioning of their medical decontamination equipment as part of an order, we are able to undertake this for you and can also include peripheral works including the relocation or disposal of current medical decontamination equipment and new pipework.
As part on the installation and commissioning process we will also ensure all products are operating in accordance with the relevant Department of Health HTM 01-01 through HTM 01-06 publications.
An example of a typical installation and commissioning project will include the following steps:
- Medical decontamination product selection
- Site inspection to include recommendations for installation
- Risk assessments and method statements
- Removal of existing equipment
- Calibration of installed equipment
- Safety testing of new equipment
